THE WEBSITE CONTENT KIT

Useful words.
Clear details.
Your starting kit.

Five reusable worksheets for the content and context behind a website. Download a plain-text copy, edit it in your own app, and keep only the prompts that help.

Optional preparation, not another brief builder. You can ask about a project before any of this is finished.

A SMALL CONTENT STARTER

One page.
One useful job.

  1. Say what is true. The offer, audience and practical details.
  2. Mark what is missing. An open question is better than an invented fact.
  3. Choose the next step. What should a visitor understand or do?
Illustrative worksheet structure. These templates are preparation tools, not completed website copy.

Use one. Skip the rest.

Preview the prompts below or save a text file to your own device. If your browser opens the file instead of downloading it, use its “View” link and copy the contents into your preferred editor.

No worksheet answers are sent to TAIAIO by opening or downloading these templates. There are no editable fields on this page and no worksheet progress is stored here. Keep your own copy.

Leave out passwords, security codes, payment information, customer records and confidential material. Use public business facts and made-up examples where needed.

PLAIN-TEXT FILES · NO SIGN-UP

Take the piece
you need.

Blank prompts are intentional. Replace them with facts you can stand behind, or leave a question for discussion. Examples are illustrative, not claims about your business.

01 / WORKSHEET

Homepage content

Give a first-time visitor the essentials.

Preview the homepage content prompts
The offer
What do you do, for whom, and where or how do you provide it?
The main next step
What should a visitor do after understanding the offer? Pick one primary action.
Services at a glance
List the services you actually provide. Add a plain-language sentence for each.
Useful evidence
List real examples, approved photography or verifiable qualifications. Mark missing evidence; do not invent testimonials or results.
Practical details
Public service area, opening hours or access information, only where relevant and confirmed.
First questions
What do visitors commonly need to know before enquiring? Use actual questions where you have them.

Illustrative structure: What you do → Who it helps → Services → Useful evidence → Questions → Enquiry. This is a starting arrangement, not a required layout.

02 / WORKSHEET

Service-page content

Explain one offer without making people guess.

Preview the service-page content prompts
Service name
Use the words your customers use for this service.
Who it is for
Describe the situation this service suits, not a promise of an outcome.
What is involved
List the parts you can accurately describe. Mark anything that depends on a quote or further review.
What is outside the scope
Name important limits, prerequisites or separate services where applicable.
How a request starts
What non-sensitive information would help you understand a prospective customer’s need?
Questions and next step
Answer common questions using confirmed facts, then identify the appropriate enquiry route.

Illustrative prompt: “This service may suit [type of customer] who needs [specific help]. We first need to understand [scope question].” Replace every bracket with a fact, or leave it as an open question.

03 / WORKSHEET

About-page content

Put a real person or business behind the offer.

Preview the about-page content prompts
The factual introduction
Who runs the business, what does it do, and what background is relevant to the work?
Your approach
Describe how you actually work. Avoid vague claims such as best, leading or guaranteed.
People and roles
Include only people and role details you have permission to publish.
Experience and evidence
Record facts you can verify. Get permission before identifying clients or publishing their words.
Photography and rights
Note which photos you own or have permission to use. Do not include private photos or files here.
Next step
Where should someone go after reading: a service page, useful example or enquiry?

Illustrative structure: Who we are → Relevant background → How we work → Where to go next. A short truthful page is more useful than invented company history.

04 / WORKSHEET

Refresh inventory

Separate what should stay from what needs review.

Preview the refresh inventory prompts
Public page address
Use the public URL only. Remove login tokens, private query values and account identifiers.
The page’s job
What should a visitor understand or do here?
Keep
What accurate content, recognisable identity or working behaviour should remain?
Change
What is outdated, confusing or difficult to use? Give a specific example.
Check
What platform or connected tool is involved? If unknown, write unknown. Do not include access details.
Priority and approval
Why does this page matter now? Who can confirm the content or approve changes? Use role descriptions rather than unnecessary personal information.

Illustrative entry: Public page /services. Keep: accurate service list. Change: the enquiry link is hard to find. Check: whether the current platform supports editing that section. Repeat this worksheet only for pages that need discussion.

05 / WORKSHEET

Website issue report

Describe a problem without needing to diagnose it.

Preview the website issue report prompts
Public page address
Link to the public page, without private tokens, account links or sensitive query values.
Steps to reproduce
List the actions in order. Use synthetic example inputs, not real customer information.
Expected behaviour
What did you expect to happen?
Actual behaviour
What happened instead? Copy only non-sensitive error text.
Device and browser
Phone, tablet or computer; browser name if known; every time or occasionally. Unknown is fine.
Impact and context
What cannot be completed? When did you notice it? Mention a recent change if known, without guessing at the cause.

Fictional example: Open /services. Select “Ask about a project”. A missing-page message appears instead of the enquiry form. Happens every time on a phone in Safari. The main contact navigation still works. This example is not a diagnosis.

BEFORE YOU SHARE OR PUBLISH

A quick
reality check.

  • Are service descriptions, public hours and areas current?
  • Do you have permission to use each photo, client name and quotation?
  • Have you removed unsupported promises and sensitive details?
  • Does each page help someone understand something or take a useful next step?

YOUR NEXT STEP

Bring the useful part, not the paperwork.

A few accurate details and an honest question are enough to begin. Your completed worksheets stay with you unless you separately choose to share them.

An enquiry starts a conversation. It does not book work, accept an estimate or take a payment.
